Enter Observer Settings

The first time you use the Ephemeris, you MUST input information about your observing location in order to see your local lunar rise, transit, and set times, and other local data. Enter your Latitude and Longitude (as shown), and click Apply. The software will remember your settings.

NOTE: To make the Observer-Dependent Data more user-friendly, Rise, Transit, and Set times are provided in event order. For example, if the earliest event occurring on a given date is Lunar Transit, the event order will appear as: Transit, Set, Rise.

When Daylight Savings Time is in effect, be sure to update the Time Manager, or your lunar Rise, Transit, and Set Times will be off by 1 hour!
