Night View Tool

If you take your laptop computer outdoors and find that your computer screen is too bright, click the Night View Icon to open the Night View Dialog. This feature will allow you to dim your computer screen to as little as 25% of the normal screen brightness.

To adjust screen brightness, simply slide the Intensity Bar to the right, and click Apply. With a bit of experimenting, you will find an illumination level that suits your taste. Minimizing the dialog keeps the function active. Clicking the X closes it, and returns your computer screen to normal brightness.

NOTE: Although the screen display becomes dimmer, the Tool Bar Buttons remain bright to help facilitate identification. If you find the bright Tool Bar objectionable, click the View Menu, and uncheck Toolbar. This will hide the Tool Bar, while the Menu still remains active.
