CARIS RCMS (Raster Chart Maintenance System) maintains chart bases digitally using raster techniques. With CARIS RCMS, entire chart folios can e rapidly converted from an analog maintenance flowline to a digital one, in which charts are kept continuously up to date without image degradation.  The digital chart bases are compatible with paper chart printing, print-on-demand, output to industry-standard raster formats such as GeoTIFF and output as Raster Nautical Charts (RNCs).
