Lunar Map Pro 2.0 features: Sunrise and Sunset Time/Date by Feature
Version 2.0 now
provides the time and date of lunar sunrise and sunset at all of the named
features in the database. This
capability is especially useful when an observer wants to view or photograph a
feature, and take advantage of the long shadows present at sunrise and sunset.
It is also useful for finding low contrast features, such as domes.
The example below shows Rupes Recta (Straight Wall), which looks best
when viewed close to lunar sunrise or sunset at the feature.
