This file contains a human-readable list of font descriptors. The file that comes with the SICOM installation contains four basic fonts:
The file contains basic descriptions for each of these, plus descriptions for bold, italic, and combined bold and italic versions of the first three. The developer may edit this file and add other fonts that are to be supported. Simply follow the format shown for the existing entries and make sure that each font descriptor begins with a unique font number and do not use numbers between 0 and 20, as these are reserved.
If you have the Chinese installation, a standard Chinese font is provided at font number 80. Additional Chinese fonts may be added with numbers above 80.
Do not add descriptors for fonts that are not resident on the target system. An attempt to use a font in the Font Definition File that is not resident on the system will result in the following:
